Top 10 Cleaning Tools
As a mother of several small children, trying to keep the house clean is a full time task. It is never completely done, and when you think you have completed one task, you find your children have other ideas of what should be done with that space, and very rarely is it keeping it clean.
I'm hoping to share with you some of my favorite clean supplies. While I am not all natural with my cleaning supplies, I try to be mindful of it. If you have any alternatives to things I talk about here, please share them with me in the comments! I am always open to new things!

Number one and my absolute favorite tool is the Scrub Daddy. It is perfect when you are washing dishes by hand and getting rid of all the grimey gunk that gets left on your casserole dishes. It is tough scrubber when cold and softer and more durable when under hot water. Our dishwasher has been out of order for a while, and since it has not been in the cards recently to get a new dishwasher, I have been washing all of our dishes by hand, and it has been such a wonderful tool to have as the family dishwasher.
I love the Pink Stuff products! They are my favorite for getting the harder stains in the kitchen and bathroom. The paste is my favorite to use when things get out of control in the bathroom. It smells awesome, too!
The O-Cedar Mop is another top cleaning tool, recommended to me by one of my best friends. Perfect for deep cleaning floors as well as walls and
baseboards. Because of the triangle mop-head and ability to rotate 360 degrees, this mop can reach and clean deep into corners, under furniture, alongside baseboards, and between tile. The perfect cleaning utensil! You do not want to sleep on this product!
I like this all-purpose cleaner a lot! It is a nice "cleaner" cleaning solution. I especially like the Rose fragrance! This cleaner is perfect for all of your cleaning needs. From tile to hardwood to countertops! It is perfect for your everyday cleaner!
Much like the Scrub Daddy, the Scrub Mommy is another of my favorite cleaning tools. It is half scrubber, half sponge. It is another great tool to have while tackling dishes. Alternatively to the Scrub Daddy, the Scrub Mommy is more like a traditional sponge and it can be used on even delicate china as well as stubborn, stuck on stains.
This is a LIFE SAVER. I don't know about you, but my sweet husband does not always clean up after himself on the nights he cooks, and often times, the pots overflow onto the stovetop and then it becomes extremely difficult to clean. I am so thankful that he is willing to cook when I have a long night, but I tend to be the one cleaning up after him. When we have especially messy dinners that need
something tougher than Clorox Wipes, The Pink Stuff, and the Scrub Daddy can handle, we pull out the Weiman Glass Cleaner! This cleaner comes with kits which include the cleaner, as well as a scraper. It gets those stubborn stains of the glass top stoves. Highly recommended!
I prefer these to paper towels for many reasons. You can obviously use these for longer in a cleaning session than you can a paper towel. Also, overall, it is just cheaper in the long run. Be sure to wash these separately on HOT water so that it gets clean and does not get the little fuzzies from other materials washing as well.
I feel this is an obvious choice of most people, but it is so true that these work magic! These things have gotten my kids out of plenty of trouble whenever they decide to make art projects on anything besides paper. It is so easy to use, that the kiddos can even clean up their messes when it is needed.
These are PERFECT to help young kiddos completely their chores. My kids love to help clean the bathroom counter as well as dust the piano and shelves whenever I am doing those chores. It is so nice to be able to give them these wipes instead of having to spray something for them to wipe up. Just a quick washing of hands afterwards, and they are good to go! Perfect for those quick cleaning jobs too, like wiping down after meals. Your counters don't need a deep clean but they need cleaned, grab your Clorox/Lysol Wipes!
This is my absolute favorite cleaning item I have ever purchased. It is perfect for area rugs, hardwood floors, and tile; which we have! It is great for a deeper clean, but at a much quicker rate than mopping and sweeping separately! You do not want to rest on this. The cordlessness feature of this wet-dry vacuum is magnificent as well! I can take it all over the house and then just place it on its charger and allow it to selfclean once I am finished! Its the perfect cleaning tool!
